RCMC Registration-FIEO

What is RCMC Registration?

Export of goods when comes into picture it abides the organization by lot of compliances with the government. RCMC(Registration Cum Membership Certificate) this is a mandatory registration which is required for export of goods outside India. It has 37 regulating bodies known as Export promotional council under which registration is to be taken. This registration is granted as per permissible categories of goods approved by government.

What is RCMC-FIEO?

In case exporter has multiple products or lines of business is not certain or those multi-product not registered with any EPC then one can take common registration and FIEO can issue the RCMC under its multi-product group category for a year from April to March. However, additionally exporter has to register with the respective EPCs by declaring lines of business.

Documents required for RCMC-FIEO

• Self-attested IEC code certificate
• Self-attested Pan card and Aadhar card
• Self-attested MOA and AOA (In case of company) and partnership deed in case of partnership , LLP Agreement, Trust Deed , GST registration certificate in case of proprietor
• Self-attested COI (in case of LLP and company)
• Board Resolution /Power of Attorney in case signing authority is different than as in afore mentioned documents.
• Self-attested GST Registration certificate
• In case of manufacture exporter copy of (SSI Registration/ Industrial License/ IEM Certificate) any one

Post Registration Compliances

• You need to quarterly submit the detailed data of revenue generated during the respective quarter to the respective council of the goods in order to stay legal.
• Any changes in the basic details such ownership or product change or addition of the segment then such changes need to be updated on the timely basis i.e. within one month of such change taken place

Validity

It has the validity of Five from the 1st of April of the year in which it is issued and remains so for five years, ending on 31st March of the fifth year.
